Eini’s shopping list builds itself from your weekly meal plan. Every ingredient is linked to a real product, with pack size, store and price, and the list is sorted by store, category or recipe. It is part of the Groceries module of Eini, the Swiss super app for saving money in everyday life.
Updated 1 October 2026
The list comes from the recipes in your weekly plan. The same ingredient from several recipes is added up, and you see how many meals use it.
Every ingredient gets a product with name, pack size, store and price. If it is on promotion this week, the promotion price counts.
By store, by category or by recipe.
Items from your pantry do not appear on the list, and a swipe marks what is still at home.
Switch brands, add what is missing and put deals from the deals browser on the list with a swipe.
Tick items off in shopping mode, even offline. Eini shows your loyalty cards’ barcodes at the till.
You see how much the promotions saved and can export the plan and the list as PDF.
You tell Eini how many people you cook for, on which days and in which stores you shop.
Eini plans lunch and dinner around the week’s promotions at Coop, Migros, Lidl, Aldi, Denner and Aligro.
Every ingredient is linked to a product. In “cheapest basket” mode, Eini picks the store where it costs least; otherwise it stays with your stores.
The list is ready, sorted by store, category or recipe.
For the cheapest own brands, Coop and Migros now cost the same per kilo for 19 of 23 staples (comparison with real prices). The differences are in the promotions, and those are spread across several stores. A list sorted by store makes shopping in two or three stores easy. In September 2026, 109 of 118 meal plans in Eini spread the shopping across two or more stores.
Eini does not share lists with other people. You can export the list as PDF and send it on.
Eini does not scan product barcodes or receipts.
Eini does not deliver or order. You shop in the store as usual.
Promotions come in week by week, and regular prices are a dated snapshot. Prices in your branch can differ.
Eini is a Swiss super app for saving money in everyday life. Besides the Groceries module with meal plan and shopping list, the same app has the Career, Taxes, Housing and Insurance modules. All facts on one page: What is Eini?
