Food in Switzerland costs more than 50% above the EU average (Eurostat). The average household (2.08 people) spends CHF 629 a month on food, CHF 660 on basic health insurance premiums and CHF 1,206 on taxes (Federal Statistical Office, Household Budget Survey 2022). And every one of those bills depends on your canton, your municipality, your household and choices almost nobody compares properly.

The tools exist, but in pieces: a premium comparison here, a tax calculator there, the flyers of eight stores somewhere else. None of them talk to each other, and few were built for Swiss reality: four languages, 26 cantons, more than 2,000 municipalities.

That's why we built Eini.

Salary, taxes, health insurance, rent, commute and groceries are not six problems. They are the same one: how much you have left at the end of the month. A cheaper apartment does not always mean a cheaper life, and a raise can be worth less than it looks once taxes are counted. Eini exists to make those numbers visible.

Today, each module answers its own question. The direction is to connect them more and more, so that the answer to “what's left?” shows up in one place.
