In short: Eini keeps all your policies in one place, with renewal dates and cancellation deadlines. The app reminds you before each deadline. It compares your basic health insurance with the official BAG premiums for 2026 and 2027 and finds the cheapest franchise. Eini Premium costs CHF 3 per week or CHF 90 per year, with 7 days free.
Manage your insurance: what you enter, what you get
Every policy, every deadline, one place. Eini needs only a few details from you.
You enter:
- Your policies (health, car, liability and more), typed in or photographed
- The municipality, age, franchise and model of your basic insurance
- The medical costs you expect
You get:
- A vault for all your policies, with renewal dates and cancellation deadlines
- Reminders before each deadline
- A comparison with the official 2026 and 2027 premiums
- The cheapest franchise for your expected costs
- A cancellation letter generated in the app
Compare health insurance premiums in four steps
- Photograph your policy. The fields fill themselves in. The image is not stored.
- Check your basic insurance. Using your municipality, age, franchise and model, Eini compares your premium with the approved 2026 and 2027 premiums.
- Choose your franchise. The franchise calculator shows which level is cheapest for the costs you expect.
- Meet your deadlines. Eini reminds you before each one. If you want to switch, you create the cancellation letter in the app.
Where the numbers come from
Basic insurance premiums are the official premiums approved by the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG). They are public on Priminfo. Eini uses the years 2026 and 2027.
Everything else comes from you: your policies, your deadlines, your expected costs. Photographed documents are read, then discarded. Scans are never stored.
No ads. No selling of your data.
What Eini does not do
Eini sells no insurance, concludes no contracts and receives no commissions from insurers. It does not act as an intermediary and does not point you to any insurer. It compares, calculates and reminds. The decision is yours.
- All results are estimates for orientation.
- Your policy and your insurer's official documents are what count.
- Check cover and conditions there before you cancel.
Switching basic insurance: the three dates
The 2027 premiums have been approved. In Eini, you can already compare them with your current premium. Three dates matter if you want to switch basic insurance:
- 31 October: your insurer tells you the new premium by this date.
- 15 November: ideally send your cancellation by this day, by registered mail or A-Post Plus.
- 30 November: your cancellation must have reached the insurer.
With Eini, you keep these deadlines in view and get a reminder before each one.
